Metropolitan State University of Denver partnered with CodeDenver and the Colorado School of Mines this summer to offer an immersive summer camp for kids interested in STEM fields. CodeDenver, sponsored by Nuggets player Aaron Gordon’s Family Giving Foundation, introduced 8th and 9th graders to cutting-edge technology in aeronautics, robot manufacturing, sports data analysis, geophysics and more. Following the camp, students participate in CodeYourCity, a “technology odyssey” that connects students with local businesses and leaders from the tech community.
CodeDenver is one of numerous summer camps held at MSU Denver for kids of all ages and covering a wide array of interests, from sports to science and the arts.
