Broomfield County Government issued the following announcement on Jan. 3.

Apply Jan. 3 through 5 p.m. on Jan. 24 at Broomfield.org/BandC.
Serving the community as a member of one of Broomfield's Boards and Commissions is a great way to get involved in the community, and share your voice with staff and Council on future decisions. Please note that you must be 14 years of age or older, and a Broomfield resident to apply.
Submit an application for the following vacancies by 5:00 p.m. January 24, 2021:
- Advisory Committee on Environmental Sustainability (12 Spots Available: 6 positions for 1-year terms; 5 positions for 3-year terms, and 1, 1-year alternate term)
- Broadlands Golf Course Advisory Board (2 Spots Available: 1 Vacancy and 1 Alternate Vacancy; both expire March 2022)
- Brunner Farmhouse Citizen Advisory Committee (5 Spots Available: 3 Vacancies to expire March 2022; 1 Vacancy to expire March 2024; and 1 Alternate Vacancy to expire March 2022)
- Cemetery Committee (3 Spots Available: 2 Vacancies to expire March 2024; 1 Alternate Vacancy to expire March 2022)
- Historic Landmark Board (1 Spot Available: 1 Alternate Vacancy to expire March 2022)
- Library Board (2 Spots Available: 1 Alternate Vacancy and 1 Youth Alternate Vacancy; both expire March 2022)
- Open Space & Trails Advisory Committee (1 Spot Available: 1 Youth Alternate Vacancy) - please note you must be 14 - 18 years old to be considered for this appointment.
- Personnel Merit Commission (1 Spot Available: 1 Vacancy to expire March 2022)
- Public Art Committee (4 Spots Available: 1 Vacancy to expire March 2022 and 3 positions to expire March 2024)
Historically Council interviews applicants. Due to COVID-19 and for the safety of everyone, we will be using Spark Hire to conduct recorded interviews that will be shared with Council.
