CITY OF LAFAYETTE: City announces holiday hours in observance of New Year's Day

City of Lafayette issued the following announcement on Dec. 23.

City announces holiday hours in observance of New Year's Day.

The following facilities will be open

  • Indian Peaks Golf Course 
    • Open weather permitting regular operating hours. Make an appointment for a tee time here:
The following facilities will have an extended closure

  • The Collective Community Arts Center
    • Closed Dec. 23-Jan. 1. 
    • During this closure, staff and cultural arts services can be reached by leaving a message at 303-661-1260 or by email arts@lafayetteco.gov
The following facilities will have alternative hours on New Year's Eve, Dec. 31

  • Bob L. Burger Recreation Center
    • Open 8am-2pm
    • Reserve a spot to workout here: 
  • Lafayette Public Library Book Drop
    • Book drops will be closed  beginning 4pm on Thursday,  Dec. 31 and will open 9am on Saturday, Jan. 2.
The following facilities will be closed in observance of New Year's Day, Jan. 1

  • Lafayette Public Library Curbside Hold Pickup and Book Drop. 
  • The Collective Community Arts Center
  • Municipal Court
  • Bob L. Burger Recreation Center 
The following facilities remain closed due to COVID-19. Municipal business available online or by phone Dec. 31. 

Municipal business not available on New Year's Day, Jan. 1. For emergencies, dial 9-1-1. 

  • City Hall
    • Municipal business available.
  • Lafayette Public Library 
    • For assistance call and leave a message at 303-665-5200 or contact online.
  • Lafayette Senior Center
    • For assistance, call 303-665-9052 x0.
  • Lafayette Police Department Lobby
