Noah Feddersen, the Summit League Sixth Man of the Year, will join the Colorado men’s basketball team for the 2026-27 season, head coach Tad Boyle announced on Apr. 17.
Feddersen is a center who played three seasons at North Dakota State University. He averaged 8.4 points and 5.0 rebounds over his college career and shot more than half of his attempts successfully from the field.
Boyle said, “We need front-court players next year to step in and play. Noah has experience, and to me, most importantly, he’s got experience for a winning program, and he has produced.” Boyle also said about Feddersen’s abilities: “Noah’s got really good skills for a big guy. He can put the ball on the floor, he can shoot it and he understands the game. He’s got a great feel, which is something that’s hard to coach, so we’re really excited about him and he’s going to be a key component for our team next year.”
In his last season with North Dakota State as a fourth-year junior in 2025-26, Feddersen helped his team win both regular season and tournament titles in their conference. The Bison finished with an overall record of 27 wins and eight losses that year but were eliminated by Michigan State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Feddersen started much of that season before moving into a bench role during league play where he continued contributing significantly during their championship run—averaging nearly eleven points per game while shooting sixty-five percent from the field during conference games.
He was named to both All-Tournament teams after recording double-doubles in important matches including one semifinal where he scored eleven points along with thirteen rebounds.
