The Commerce City and Brighton Police Sexual Assault Task Force (SATF) located Jason Mickel Brigham on March 2 around 4 p.m. in Denver. After learning the make and model of the vehicle he was in, SATF shared the information with Denver Police Department and requested their assistance to conduct a traffic stop. He was taken into custody and processed at the Brighton Police Department before being transported to Adams County Detention Facility. He is now awaiting trial for 13 counts of sexual assault on a child.

The SATF worked in conjunction with FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Fugitive Task Force, and received an incredibly helpful tip from Castle Rock Police Department. We would also like to thank the Denver Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and Lakewood Police Department for their assistance. In addition to these law enforcement partners, the following businesses provided valuable information:

Camping World in Golden, ColoradoBerkenkotter Motors Win Win Financial

Lastly, we would like to thank the public and the media for helping to quickly disseminate information which led to this successful outcome.
