The Colorado women’s basketball team announced its annual team awards at a banquet held ahead of senior day, recognizing standout players for their performances during the 2025-26 season.
The awards highlight individual achievements as the Buffs prepare for postseason play. Senior forward Jade Masogayo received both the Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year honors for the second consecutive year. Masogayo was also named to the All-Big 12 Second Team, marking her second All-Conference award in the Big 12 after an honorable mention last season. She averaged 11.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.0 steals per game this season, with notable performances including a career-high 23 points against TCU and a stretch of ten consecutive double-digit scoring games during conference play.
Defensive Player of the Year was shared by junior guard Zyanna Walker and senior forward Anaëlle Dutat. Walker earned her second All-Defensive Team selection in the Big 12 and posted significant stats such as five or more steals in three games and a career-high 24 points against Kansas. Dutat set a program record with over 117 offensive rebounds in a single season—currently at 128—and led or tied for leading rebounds in nineteen games.
Other honorees included junior guard Desiree Wooten (Sixth Man Award), freshman forward Logyn Greer (Newcomer of the Year), junior guard Maeve McErlane (Ceal Barry Pride Award and Iron Buff), and sophomore guard Kennedy Sanders (Crystal Ford Adams Scholar-Athlete Award and Buff Service Award). Greer led all Colorado freshmen in minutes played, starts, and points this season, while Sanders was recognized for her academic achievements and community service despite an injury-shortened season.
The Buffs will conclude their week of rest before tuning into the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament Selection Show on Sunday, March 15 at 6 p.m. Mountain Time on ESPN. Further postseason information will be available at CUBuffs.com.
