Colorado track and field athletes to compete at Air Force Twilight Open

Colorado track and field will send a small group of athletes to the Air Force Twilight Open at the Cadet Outdoor Track & Field Complex, hosted by the United States Air Force Academy, on Friday, May 3, according to a May 6 announcement.

The event provides an opportunity for select Colorado athletes to compete in their respective events as part of their ongoing season. The meet is expected to feature competitions in various disciplines including hammer throw and sprints.

Amanda Opp and Lucas Williams are scheduled to open competition for Colorado in the women’s and men’s hammer throw at 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., respectively. Joran Ball will participate in the men’s 400 meters at 2:34 p.m.
