The City of Brighton has implemented GovOS, formally known as Munirevs, a leading provider of business licensing, tax, and compliance tools for local government. The GovOS platform allows for business license applications to be submitted online and provides for City of Brighton sales tax returns, lodging tax returns, and Prairie Center sales tax returns to be filed online.

Visit brightonco.munirevs.com to register for this new system today! For active businesses, registration letters containing an updated account number and activation code were mailed Friday, Feb. 10 and were also sent to the email address on file.

Why use GovOS?

  • Everything is online – no more filling out paper application forms or mailing in checks

  • Automated reminders sent to your email address about renewal due dates

  • View completed application and license history from your business center

  • Excellent support from the GovOS Support Team

The vendor fee for on-time filing will continue to apply if you file and pay electronically using the GovOS platform or the Colorado Sales and Use Tax System (SUTS). Due to recent municipal code changes, paper returns are no longer eligible for a vendor fee.
