On Saturday, May 17, former Boulder High School standout Adrien Armstrong’s current collegiate team the Emory Eagles lost 1-10 against the Lynchburg Hornets in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.
The game took place at James C. Fox Field at 7:05 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Lynchburg Hornets in the tournament.
The Emory Eagles’ next game will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 10 a.m. at James C. Fox Field.
The Colorado Buffaloes women’s lacrosse team edged past Jacksonville Dolphins 10-9 in an NCAA Tournament thriller at Prentup Field. Key performances from Maddie Shoup, Teagan Ryan, Rowan Edson, and strong defense secured their advance into Sunday’s second round.
This former City of Boulder area high school standout will be competing on Saturday, May 9.
Four players from Colorado Buffaloes women’s lacrosse have been named All-Americans by USA Lacrosse Magazine. Jess Peluso earned Third Team honors while Lily Assini, Elena Oh, and Maddie Shoup received honorable mentions.
